March 9 (1-3pm): “Women Innovators Revolutionizing How Our Food is Grown” with Amy Wu at The Book & Nook in Warwick
To celebrate Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, learn how women entrepreneurs are transforming agriculture through high technology. Amy Wu’s book, From Farms to Incubators, presents inspiring stories and practical case studies of how women entrepreneurs from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds are leading the agtech revolution.
Mid-Hudson SWE is planning to organize a coffee or happy hour meet up after the event to connect members who attend this talk

March 21 (6-8pm): Storytelling’s Impact on Presentations
Learn about the benefits of storytelling. We will have a guest speaker, Debbie, share about good techniques when presenting. This will also be a great time to connect with other SWE members and think about presentations for WE24. This will be a 2 hour mini workshop. More details to come

March 16 (11:30am-1pm): Girls Rock STEAM
SWE will be at a table sharing our professional experiences as engineers with local middle school students in attendance at the Girls ROCK STEAM event at Arlington High School. Reach out to midhudonswe@gmail.com if you are interesting in helping

April 6 (9:30am-12:30pm): Dutchess County Science Fair at Duchess Community College
